Waldron’s Peak and Sirona Physical Therapy are committed to serving the community both internally and externally.

Internally, we strive to deliver the absolute patient care experience from start to finish.

Externally, we have contributed to a variety of charitable organizations:

  • Soles4Souls: An organization that facilitates the distribution of shoes, which are used to aid the hurting world wide. Changing the world one pair at a time. Since 2013 we have been collecting shoes at both our locations. Our clients consistently contribute hundreds of shoes/year.

  • National Multiple Sclerosis Society: We annually support a client in their annual Bike MS ride

  • The Jim Davies Memorial Golf Tournament: This annual golf tournament raises money for scholarships given to participants of Judi's House, a local non-profit offering counseling to grieving children and families.

  • The Bob Doctor Golf Tournament: A Colorado APTA event in honor of Bob Doctor who established the PT games to encourage camaraderie among all physical therapists. He raised funds to support the PT profession. In Bob’s honor all funds are used to support the ongoing legislative issues and the Student Scholarship fund.

  • Fairveiw High School Choir: Annual wreath sale

  • Able to Sail: A Youth Empowerment Camp

  • Volunteer Service: During the month of October, which is PT Month, our staff has participated in a PT Day of Service. The organization PT Day of Service was Co-Founded by Efosa Guobadia and Josh D’Angelo. , They had a bold and inspirational idea “What if, on the same day, clinicians, students and associated staff of the Physical Therapy profession volunteered in different communities around the world?” It was a chance for the profession to show what we can do when we all work together.”brings together thousands of volunteers from over 50 countries. The Waldron’s Peak Physical Therapy team has volunteered with

    • Rocky Mountain National Park for Fire Mitigation

    • Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks for trail restoration

    • Flatirons Habitat for Humanity for assistance in building a home

  • NAACP Legal Defense Fund: Legal organization fighting for racial justice

  • Center for Policing Equity: Their work aids police departments to realize their own equity goals as well as advance the scientific understanding of issues of equity within organizations and policing.

  • Lynda B Woodruff Research Grant on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Physical Therapy: This grant, established in 2020, is intended to stimulate academic, clinical, and community-based research in physical therapy with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and social inequities that lead to health care disparities.

  • CU foundation Physical Therapy Program diversity Scholarship: The Physical Therapy provides scholarship support to promote diversity within the Program at the Anschutz Medical Campus. This may include students from under-served groups, 1st generation college students, and those from low income families
