Audrey Waldron, PT, DPT

Dr. Waldron has owned and operated Waldron’s Peak Physical Therapy (WPPT) in Boulder since 2002 and acquired Sirona Physical Therapy in Golden in 2012. She has been practicing physical therapy since 1990 and established WPPT in order to be able to provide exceptional, quality care treatment that incorporates evidence based practice in conjunction with years of personal experience. She believes that each individual should have access to a health care provider that will listen and jointly formulate a plan of care specific for their needs. She has developed a reputation for serving as a primary care provider for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions and works closely with physicians to ensure that an individual is receiving the most comprehensive care possible to maintain their PEAK performance.

Audrey received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ/Rutgers University in 1990 and completed her Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver in May 2013. She continuously strives to enhance her clinical skills by attending a wide variety of clinical education courses in orthopedics, manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, functional movement assessment, blood flow restriction exercise (BFR), to name a few. As a life long learner, during the past 33 years she has taken more than 100 continuing education courses.

In addition to her clinical success, she has been professionally active in the Colorado American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Private Practice Section of the APTA. She served as President of the Colorado APTA for 4 years, Chief Delegate for 4 years and served on the board of Directors for 24 years. She has served on and chaired numerous committees on both a statewide and national level and has testified regarding numerous pieces of legislation affecting the physical therapy profession in Colorado.

Audrey enjoys mentoring young professionals and has worked closely with the faculty and students in the physical therapy Doctoral programs at both the University of Colorado and Regis University. She was awarded the Colorado Outstanding Physical Therapist Award in 2001, Outstanding Alumnae from Rutgers University in 2004, The Cerasoli Educator Award for Outstanding contributions to the education of student physical therapists in 2008 from the University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program and most recently, the 2022 CU Physical Therapy Alumni Achievement Award https://issuu.com/cuphysmed/docs/pt_newsletter_2023_final/18

In her spare time she enjoys running, hiking, nordic skiing, gardening, cooking and reading.


Chris Carlisle PT, DPT

Dr. Chris Carlisle is a manual physical therapist who specializes in treating the spine, post-surgical conditions, and sports-related injuries. 

Chris joined Waldron’s Peak Physical Therapy in January 2018. Previously he practiced near Hilton Head, South Carolina, where he treated a diverse caseload of patients including athletes, active-duty military, and retirees. Since coming to Boulder he has developed a reputation for his manual therapy skills and his precision with exercise instruction.

 Chris earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009. He is a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist with advanced training in orthopaedics and sports medicine. 

 Outside of work Chris enjoys running, cooking, reading, and exploring his new home state of Colorado.
